We are proud to announce the latest Immersion A Series. In this blog, we will take a closer look at the key features that encompasses the Immersion A3 mechanical gaming keyboard.
Let's dive straight in and take a peek at the plethora of features the Immersion A3 has to offer, and that gorgeous retro design with its polished aluminum board. From the get-go you'll notice the TKL layout. The TKL (Ten-key-less) layout ditches the number pad, and provides you with a space-saving solution to your desk, and gaming setup.
On the left you have connectivity buttons, and on the right control buttons. These dedicated buttons provide easy access without the need to use the fn-key in combination with other keys, making for a more effortless undertaking when connecting to devices, or adjusting RGB backlight effects.
Another feature that will instantly stand out on the Immersion A3 mechanical gaming keyboard is the ultra-slim design. This was possible by using premium (aircraft-grade) aluminum alloy, in combination with durable polycarbonate. This allowed us to acheive the exceptionally slim profile design on the Immersion A3 mechanical gaming keyboard.
A key feature in any mechanical gaming keyboard are the connectivity options. The immersion A3 mechanical keyboard enables effortless multi-device connectivity. You'll notice 4 dedicated connectivity buttons on the top left of the Immersion A3 keyboard. A wired/Wi-Fi combo button, and 3 dedicated Bluetooth buttons.
Unlike most mechanical keyboards that feature multi-connectivity options which requires the user to use the fn-key in combination with other keys to toggle between devices, the Immersion A3 Gaming Keyboard offers three Bluetooth buttons that can each be connected to three-enabled Bluetooth devices instead. This allows the user to toggle seamlessly between each device as needed. These dedicated buttons essentially allow for hopping between 5 devices in total. Wireless, Wired, and three Bluetooth-enabled devices.
Hexgears Immersive Lighting™ technology features TRUE RGB colors across the board. This enables for a complete immersive ambiance. Elevating your setup with spectacular visuals that truly does leave an impression like no other. True RGB, also known as True Color, renders RGB color with a bit-depth of 24. What is bit-depth 24 you may ask? Bit-depth 24 allows for a total of 16,777,216 tones of colors to be displays. Most mechanical keyboards that feature RGB come with 32-bit colors, or multi-color backlight to give the illusion of RGB.
One of the unique characteristics you'll notice on the Immersion A3 is the low-profile switches. Most low-profile keyboards feature regular switches, which doesn't really provide a low actuation point that will allow for faster key input registration; to solve this and to better provide a more affordable option to the millions of gamers world-wide, Hexgears collaborated with Kailh in designing and developing low-profile switches that feature actuation points of just 1.6mm (Tactile), and 1.2 (Clicky, & Linear). As you can see from the image above.
The Immersion A3 mechanical gaming keyboard's keycaps are made of durable PC, with Hexgears Anti-Fade technology, so the keycap's clarity remains crisp and clear even after prolonged usage. Additionally, The keycaps are double-shot, this ensures exceptional durability with intense use. One unique characteristic of the keys, as you may have noticed, 'float' above the board, exposing the switches underneath. Such keycaps are known as floating keycaps. Essentially allowing more backlight to shine through.
One feature that truly stands out on the Immersion A3 mechanical gaming keyboard is the Display Screen. This feature was conceived to provide users with easy access to selecting and adjusting various RGB backlight options to suit their game using the toggle switch, as seen in the photo above. Additionally, by using the HexDrive® software, users can customize and upload GIF and Images (kinda like a screen saver) onto the display screen. Additional features include various indicators, battery power level, time & date display.
On the gaming, & software-side of things, the Immersion A3 gaming mechanical keyboard features advanced functions that include N-key rollover. N-key rollover ensures that complex key commands are registered precisely and accurately. Another feature that is equally vital is programmable macro. This, dear gamers, is a key feature that offers every gamer the ability to set per-key configuration and keybindings, basically letting you merge complex key commands into a simple key press for total gaming domination.
Another cool feature is the per-key RGB configuration and music effect. The per-key RGB configuration lets you set specific backlight colors to any key you want, and the music effect allows you to basically set the keyboard's backlight to match the rhythm of your music for a cool visual display.
Last but not least, we thought we'd show you the gasket structure of the Immersion A3 mechanical gaming keyboard. One of the key elements of the Immersion A3 is the sponge that is situated between the lower polycarbonate board and the upper PCB board, this helps reduce vibrations and provide a more satisfying haptic feel, and sound, whether you're using Tactile, Linear, or Clicky switches.
